Awsome Ampeg Sound Two words best describe this amp, powerful and versatile. With ample ways to adjust it’s sound you can get all the power you need to drive what ever speaker cabinet you choose. I really wanted to stay completely Ampeg but cost was a consideration until I found Avatar bass speaker cabs. Ended up with a 4 tens 8 ohm model and it fits well with the Ampeg. Proceed with caution. Not saying don’t buy, but be aware. 3 stars, here’s why. Amp sounds great, and is lightweight and compact for it’s power. 5 stars. I experienced the now famous ‘SVT-7 cutting out for no reason.’ 0 stars. It was fixed for free under warranty (main board replaced) however the repair took months (shop said they were waiting on part). 3 stars.
