Loud enough to annoy the neighbors…which is good because I hate them Total newbie to bass, and time will tell as far as durability, but the Ampeg is clear, loud and has good tone as far as my neophyte ears are concerned. It’s a little pricey but I wanted to get something with a good name and enough power to keep me amused for a while. My only complaint, which isn’t really a justified complaint, is that this amp won’t go into overdrive or get dirty/crunchy at max volume; which some would argue is not the bass player’s job anyway.
