Alesis – I wish the drums could be as good as their customer service ! plays great! the mesh is great, but it broked two weeks ago (so that’s about 10 weeks or more like 8 weeks of use because i still used the mylar kick for a while after ordering the mesh kick)… Alesis triggers seem to go out very quickly on the mylar heads or mesh. i must have replaced 4 pads to date, and i have replace 1 cymbal pad with a hi-hat pad i had left over after purchasing the pro x hi-hat. i never thought i played very hard. in decades of playing an acoustic kit i never blew-out…
The description for this product says that it is compatible with most Alesis electric drum kits including the DM10 and Nitro. I have a Nitro kit purchased new in December and while the drum works well and appears to be of good quality the clamp that came with it is way to large for the Nitro arms, unless there is some way to rig this that I am missing.
