The Resoluute Five String Resonator Banjo is a basic full featured beginner banjo . It has a solid mahogany closed back that can be removed if you would like to play without it, and the maple fingerboard is beautiful, smooth, and easy to play on. Twenty four brackets keep the head tension even, and the Remo drumhead maximizes the sound and impact. It comes mostly assembled, and all you need to do upon delivery is tighten the brackets with the included wrench and you’re ready to play. We included an exclusive bonus beginner banjo manual with a chord chart to help you get started on your banjo journey.

Mine arrived broken, so I had to do a lot of repairs to make it right, but am now really surprised that it plays so well. All of the resonator lugs had fallen out of the resonator when it arrived, so I had to cement them into place using some contact cement. The bridge was broken on arrival, and I had to replace that as well. The bolts that hold the rim hardware in place are so small that the heads actually dig into…
Looks like a high quality piece for the price but there … Looks like a high quality piece for the price but there are some issues that cut its value short. The strap pins didn’t survive for too long with a strap on it. The neck to resonator connection seems weak or flimsy. Even while holding the banjo with a strap minor pressure on the neck causes it to detune. I would suggest an ibanez in nearly the same price range which is a much better buy. It did come well packed and spotless. If it played as good as it looks this would be a home run but…
