5.5″ “Radial Teardrop” Stainless Steel Resonator Cover Plate for Cigar Box Guitars

These resonator cover plates are crafted from 24-gauge (.024″) stainless steel sheet, and are designed and manufactured in the USA in the C. B. Gitty workshops. We designed these covers to fit the 5.5-inch “Lightning” cigar box guitar resonator cones designed by Charles Atchison, and they make a great addition to your special CBG resonator build. We give these plates a “rough buff” with 222-grit sandpaper, and you can further buff them as desired with steel wool, microgrit sandpaper or buffing compound. Their outer diameter is 5 5/8″ and the center opening is 2 inches. Each one has eight screw holes for mounting. Please note that the resonator cones do not come with holes so you’ll be doing a little drilling to get these mounted. We do not include screws with these plates.
